CANADIAN FELLOWSHIP GRANT PROGRAM
The COHNS Fund and the Society's Fellowship Committee are pleased to announce the winners of the
2011 / 2012 Canadian Fellowship Grants -
DR. STEPHANIE JOHNSON (University of Ottawa) has received the COHNS Fund/GlaxoSmithKline Fellowship Grant to do a head and neck surgery oncology fellowship at the University of Toronto under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Freeman.
DR. KRISTIAN MacDONALD (Dalhousie University) is the recipient of the COHNS Fund Fellowship Grant to do a rhinology fellowship at the University of Toronto, under the direction of Dr. Ian Witterick.
Congratulations to both candidates. We would like to acknowledge and thank GlaxoSmithKline for their partial support of this program.
Reminder: The Fund's Mini-fellowship Program. This initiative is meant for ACTIVE members of the Society who wish to enhance their expertise in certain areas of the specialty or who would like to acquire new surgical techniques. The guidelines have been revised to include funding for “hands-on” courses. For further information as well as an application form, please go to Mini-fellowship Application.

Fund-raising Activities
The Executive would like to thank the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery for hosting very successful fund-raising activities over the past 8 annual meetings (Ottawa, Calgary, Quebec City, St. John's, Kelowna, Montreal and Jasper). The net profit from all these events has gone directly to the Fund and have been used to support educational endeavours.
