    OVERALL MEETING OBJECTIVES
  • to highlight the concept of enhancing the quality of patient care as the overall theme of the meeting;
  • to allow for podium and poster presentations of up-to-date clinical and scientific material;
  • to present a variety of workshops, panels and thematic sessions as a means of providing more concentrated subject matter in a less formal setting;

    ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY OF THE CRANIAL BASE AND PITUITARY FOSSA
    A HANDS-ON DISSECTION COURSE

    This course will consist of a series of lectures on approaches for endoscopic surgery of the cranial base and pituitary fossa. In particular, minimally invasive techniques will be discussed as well as interactive live cases. Experts on the subject will present technical aspects of those operations along with risks, benefits and outcomes.

    Please join us for a lovely evening on the summit of Mont Royal. The Chalet du Mont Royal was built in 1932 and houses a collection of pictures tracing the history of Montreal, many of which have been painted by famous artists. This energetic, compelling, funny and slightly provocative 2 hour and 30 minute show tells of the encounter between characters living in two parallel worlds. Bus transportation to the Grand Chapiteau (Big Top), Cirque’s head quarters, at the Quays of the old Port Montreal as well as a light meal before the preformance will be provided.     A post-convention golf tournament and dinner has been organized for the Society's golfers at LE CHALLENGER golf course. This course is located just outside Montreal (approx. 15 - 20 minute drive from the conference hotel and 10 - 15 minutes from the airport). The fee includes golf, cart and dinner (optional). The dinner will be held in the clubhouse's private Allegro dining room and will include wine, soft drinks, entrée, salad, main course, dessert and coffee/tea. First tee time - 13:28.
