It is with great joy that I welcome you to the 2025 79th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, under my leadership this year.

 As we gather in the enchanting city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, we invite you to immerse yourself in a unique blend of rich heritage and limitless horizons.This year’s theme, “From Heritage to Horizon: The Power of Coaching, Mentorship, and Connections,” reflects our commitment to fostering growth and collaboration within our community. Together, we will explore how our shared experiences can illuminate new paths for future generations, empowering us all through the transformative power of mentorship and meaningful connections.

Fredericton, with its charming streets, vibrant culture, and warm-hearted hospitality, is the perfect backdrop for our gathering. You will find yourself captivated by its character and beauty, as we forge lasting memories both within our sessions and in the community around us. I am thrilled to invite you to the stunning and world class, Beaver Brook Art Gallery, home to one of the most impressive, international and varied art collections I have ever seen in one place. For our Welcoming Reception Saturday evening guests will get unrestricted access to the entire gallery as the Society has rented the entire venue for the special evening.

I am most excited about the President’s Banquet, it will be one to remember. In true Maritime fashion we are doing something completely different this year and hosting a proper East Coast Kitchen Party. Live music, amazing food and a lively evening that will leave you heart and belly-full by the end of the evening.

We have many more special little surprises for you along the way from world renowned speakers to therapeutic experiences, incentives for interacting with our guest sponsors, a great WIO event and three new educational session tracks.
