“Through the Looking Glass: The Next 25 Years”
PresidentDR. DOMINIQUE DORION, Sherbrooke, QC
Local Arrangements ChairDR. MANOHAR BANCE, Halifax, NS
Scientific Program ChairDR. ANDRE TAN, Kingston, ON

We invite you to join us in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the Society’s 63rd Annual Meeting. The Local Arrangements Committee, chaired by Dr. Manohar Bance, has worked very hard to put together some terrific social events for you. That, coupled with a scientific program that has “the future” as its theme, will make this a very memorable experience for all those who attend.

Our Scientific Program Chair, Dr. Andre Tan, in conjunction with the CPD and the Sub-specialty Committee Chairs, has developed a diverse and rich program based on your evaluations and comments from last year. In keeping with the “future trends” theme of the meeting, you will hear from international guest speakers, as well as from the Society’s own “four prognosticator” who will speak about what’s coming down the OHNS pipeline and coming trends.

This year, the following important changes and additions have been made to the program.

  • The meeting will start on SUNDAY, MAY 10 at 08:00 with the OPENING SESSION, to be followed by lunch, workshops and exhibits in the afternoon.
  • “A POSTER WALK WITH THE EXPERTS” is a new event scheduled for TUESDAY, MAY 12 at 13:30 to be followed by the ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING at a new time, 16:00.
  • On-site meeting activities will wrap-up with the PRESIDENT’S BANQUET on TUESDAY EVENING, MAY 12
  • WEDNESDAY, MAY 13 will be dedicated to a hands-on course: TRANSORAL LASER MICROSURGERY to be held at the new surgical skills laboratory, QE2 HSC in Halifax.
