Welcoming Reception

This year the welcoming reception will be held in the Trillium Room on the 4th level of the Ottawa Convention Centre. This beautiful space overlooks the Rideau Canal and gives a lovely view of the cityscape and Parliament buildings. The OCC is conveniently located next door to the Westin Hotel and connected by an indoor walkway. For those who wish to continue on with their evening, the ByWard Market is a short walk from the OCC where you can find a multitude of restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

President’s Banquet
Monday, May 12, 2014 – 19:15

Patrick Gullane and Barbara Cruickshank, cordially invite you to join them for cocktails and dinner in the Confederation I / Provinces I/II Ballroom of the Westin Hotel. This year the President`s banquet has been brought forward to the Monday evening for the convenience of all the attendees. Dr. Roberta Bondar is scheduled to speak. The magician “Spidey”, a Canada has Talent finalist, will be the evening’s entertainment. Dress is formal, black tie is optional.

Should there be a demand, a supervised children’s room will be available for those who require childcare for the evening. This will be suitable for children ages 3 to 12 years.

CSO Fun Run

Starting at the Westin Hotel, you will be able to choose a 5k or 10k route that follows the picturesque Rideau Canal. There is no charge for this event.

Companions’ Hospitality Suite
Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13, 2014 – 08:00 to 10:00

A continental breakfast will be served each morning in the Saskatchewan Room at the Westin Hotel for the registered spouses and companions of meeting delegates.

Children’s Evening
Monday May 12, 2014 – 19:00 to 22:00

Children will enjoy a fun get-together during the President’s banquet on Monday evening. Food, games, and a movie will be provided. All this complete with adult supervision. This evening is suitable for children ages 3 to 12 years. Kindly note, this event will require a minimum number of participants to run.
